JUNK BONDS

In a fast-paced game of liar's poker, a young Asian American woman fights her way into Wall Street's clubby, high-rolling world. Immense wealth, glamorous careers, and intoxicating power are at stake in pursuit of a fat slice of American pie.

This play is about the struggle to break into an established profitable space that excludes you from holding any power. So, as long as the production reflects the battles against racism, sexism and inclusion, then it is fine… While this play was originally set on Wall Street, the setting could be any contemporary financial center or district.
